Off-The-Job Behavior
'Confidentiality'
Behavior plays a crucial part of ethics in an organization especially when having a large customer base. At a tertiary level school, the employees and student life outside of school is very important to both parties. privacy is important to expect all employees to show respect and sensitivity toward Professional person, working in public schools need to have legal and ethical responsibility to safeguard the confidentiality of information regarding all their students and teachers.
An organization or employee should consider their acquaintance when it comes to representing that employee confidentiality. Any information that is recorded in work policies should be confidential and schools are required to have guidelines for collecting, maintaining, disseminating, and verifying the accuracy of information that they collect. This information should not be mentioned outside of work to demine the employee and student character out in the public.
Management should also respect that employee's or student's personal life when it comes to his or her relationship preferences or status. Administrators and lecturers are liable to respect each other to demonstrate a commitment to believe equal opportunity objectives, especially religious beliefs and private life. Teachers should also conduct themselves professionally, realizing that all actions reflect directly upon the status and substance of the profession.
Across the country, school officials are grappling with the growth of social media and the implications for their schools. Technological communication between students and teachers outside of school is often at the heart of the problem. More and more, school officials are making ethical and policy decisions balancing the ease of communication with student safety and decorum. Scores of teachers have e-mailed or texted their way into the headlines, crossing the bounds of appropriate relationships with students by engaging in inappropriate emailing and/or texting. This brings an ethical issues that is common in most teachers student relationship.

Policies are vital; the particular reason for circumstances are such that it aids educational institutions to establish rules and procedures in order to function effectively and ensure everyone is connected. Universities are very complicated institutions that establish learning and safety requirements, as well as expectations and responsibility.
Without these, many institutions would be unable to offer the structure and function required to meet educational requirements regarding students. Some policies may apply to all institutions, while others will be tailored as seen fit. Government and legislation and standards serves as a guide to build the content for policies and procedures.
The University of Belize has placed rules and regulations that ought to be followed and for this specific reason that all schools should be governed with rules and procedures should be in place to assist teachers in dealing with instances involving violence, threatening behavior, or abuse.
The areas listed below must be covered: Abuse (Discipline and behavior), violence or threats from adults visiting the school (Handling offensive weapons and knives) use of justifiable force.
By law, school standards must clearly define what is acceptable and have a tiered system of rewards for good behavior. Respect for others, intolerance of bullying and harassment, and the distinction between acceptable and improper behavior should all be emphasized in the policy. Such reasons are why I believe that the enforcement of the rules should be a priority.
